Los Angeles Times reported the arrest of a Lancaster couple—Elias Abdurahman, 61, and his partner Sara Kebede Tadesse, 50, for keeping a woman captive in their storage shed for a year and torturing her. The story informs that the woman, when found by the police, was covered in wounds, both fresh and old. She was also seriously malnourished.
