Frontier Airlines Now Flying to Northeast Florida Regional Airport

St. Augustine, FL. – Dedicated to offering ¨Low Fares Done Right, Frontier Airlines have announced that Northeast Florida Regional Airport will be one of 14 new nonstop ultra low fare services from Washington Dulles International Aiport (IAD) with introductory fares as low as $15* each way.Frontier Airlines

Beginning Aug. 19, the ultra-low cost airline will offer nonstop flights to Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., Orlando, Fla. Minneapolis/St.Paul, and Tampa, Fla.

Service to Chicago-O’Hare, Cincinnati, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Las Vegas, Memphis, Tenn., Fort Myers, Fla., St. Louis, and the St. Augustine/Jacksonville, Fla. area begins Sept. 8.

Flights from Washington Dulles International Airport to Northeast Florida Regional Airport will operate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

To introduce Frontier to the market, the airline is hosting a 12-hour, today-only sale with flights from IAD to any of the new cities for just $15* each way. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, May 13, 2014, for travel through Nov. 19, 2014. Additional introductory fares as low as $39* will be available at FlyFrontier.com through May 17, 2014. Tickets may be purchased at FlyFrontier.com.

Richard Goldman, Executive Director of the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Visitors and Convention Bureau, says the new flights from Washington Dulles in addition to the Frontier flights from the Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN), in Ewing, N.J., will be a boon to the area. “Combined, Frontier could generate 65,208 new visitors per year who could spend about $24.6 million in the destination.”

Frontier’s new service from Washington-Dulles will operate on 168-seat Airbus A320 aircraft that feature six rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom, and the airline’s SELECT seating product. Customers can choose the seating choice that’s best for them when they book at Frontier’s website, FlyFrontier.com, the only place a seat assignment is available at the time of booking.

Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, May 13, 2014. Fares are one way for domestic travel from start of service through November 19, 2014. Roundtrip purchase not required. Fares are valid from origin to destination only. Seats are limited at these fares and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable.

Depending on the fare type purchased, nonrefundable tickets may be transferred for a fee of up to $50, or reissued for alternate flights for a fee of up to $75, as well as a possible fare increase. The name change fee and itinerary change fee are not exclusive of each other. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Flight segment(s) must be cancelled prior to scheduled departure time or the ticket(s) and all monies will be forfeited.
