Craigslist is one of those sites where people seem to love placing various ads in wrong categories. Many a time, calls for volunteer work are placed in the Jobs section. And then we have calls for girlfriends in the Jobs section too.
This pic you see below is such a call for a girlfriend posted 5 days ago in Jobs section on Pakistan’s Craigslist. The ad wants a girl ranging in age from 24 to 35 to be hired as a girlfriend in Karachi city against a monthly compensation of 10,000 to 20,000 ($100 – $200).
When did personals become job is not clear to me, but pretty much clear from this ad is the fact that Craigslist needs more serious monitoring of its various categories and clean the mess such calls make on the site.
The word “prostitution” isn’t far from this two-line ad, and it will only add to some of Craigslist’s questionable content.
