Veteran Bollywood actress Sadhana has passed away in Mumbai, India, at the age of 74.
Born Sadhana Shivdasani, but popularly known as Sadhana, she remained one of the leading ladies of Bollywood cinema in the 60s and early 70s. But aside from her acting talent, Sadhana also got great recognition and following as Bollywood’s fashion and style icon. Her look and slender figure along with the trademark Sadhana cut reflected Audrey Hepburn’s charm.
Unlike some popular actresses of her era, Sadhana chose to stay away from public appearances and camera. It is believed that she wanted to be remembered by the audiences as they last saw her on screen – young, beautiful, and stylish.
