by Stand for Health Freedom
We know everyone is “electioned-out” at this point. Constituents, candidates, and grassroots activists are all pit-stopping on this common ground. But in this final sprint, we want to focus on another place where we see common ground for all Americans – protecting the health and wellness of our children.
We have candidates from all parties on our guides: Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians and No affiliation. And the reason why is, at every level of candidacy, we are seeing party lines dissolve in the name of our children’s future. On the presidential stage, “Make America Healthy Again” transcends party lines to unify under a single ticket to make children’s health center stage in the most visible election in our nation.
Below is a list of 12 critical races across the U.S. for health freedom, each endorsed by Stand for Health Freedom. There are a number of reasons these races are critical, but all of them would be a huge win for health freedom. Remember that public health policy is largely the responsibility of your state and local officials.
- West Virginia for Governor, Patrick Morrisey
- Indiana for Governor, Mike Braun
- Washington for Attorney General, Pete Serrano
- North Carolina for Attorney General, Dan Bishop
- Kentucky for US House, District 4, Thomas Massie
- Arizona for US House, District 9, Paul Gosar
- New Jersey for US House, District 9, Billy Prempeh
- Ohio for US House, District 7, Dennis Kucinich
- New York for State House, District 37, Tricia Lindsay
- Tennessee for State House, District 18, Elaine Davis
- Indiana for State house, District 25, Becky Cash
- Florida for Manatee County School Board, District 1, Mark Stanoch
Public health policy is the single biggest threat to our freedom today. We all want to be healthy. We all want our loved ones to be safe. And we all want to see our children thrive. The question is, how do we get there?
One thing is certain, giving up our freedoms for the illusory promise of a better future is too dangerous. Stepping away from the “Two Minutes Hate” of the mainstream media, common sense tells us that we need
- Robust flow of information for people to make good decisions.
- Strong parental rights for kids to have long-term success.
- Guarded religious freedoms lest the state become god.
- Privacy to exercise our values without government interference.
- For informed consent to be protected as the sacred right that it is.
We have the blueprint for health freedom policy, and can see the path forward with the growing number of health freedom candidates we are supporting. Now we just need you to head to the polls with your vote for health freedom guide, and encourage your friends to do the same!
For health and freedom,
Your SHF team.
