Medical Freedom Group Calls for Rejecting Trump’s Surgeon General Pick

President Trump has been announcing his picks for key federal offices for his upcoming presidential term that starts January 20, 2025. While a number of his nominations have drawn criticism to mixed response among conservatives, there is one that has sparked concern and disappointment in millions of Trump voters – the nomination of Dr. Janette Nesheiwat for Surgeon General.

Nesheiwat has a record of parroting the lies and deceptions of the medical-pharmaceutical mafia during the COVID-19 years. Pushing masks and vaccines over and over, she even praised censorship of free speech about the so-called pandemic and vaccines on Facebook and encouraged other social media platforms to follow the leftist censorial practices of Facebook.

Since her nomination for Surgeon General made news, conservatives have widely shared clips of Nesheiwat’s interviews, mainly on Fox News where she has been a medical opinion contributor, wherein she pushed vaccines, masks, and censorship.

Stand for Health Freedom, which advocates medical freedom and opposes authoritarian medicine serving the pharmaceutical industry, has called on all pro-freedom people to reject Nesheiwat’s nomination for the Surgeon General’s office. The organization wrote on November 29:

Nesheiwat has shown she does not support the First Amendment and is therefore a danger to the American people and our Constitution. It is impossible to have informed consent and censorship at the same time. Nesheiwat herself supported health policies that harmed Americans and our children, while calling to silence voices that shared opinions she later adopted for herself.
