One of the most popular and hot-favorite TV shows from my childhood, War of the Worlds (1988 – 1990) by Greg Strangis lasted 2 seasons and was a sophisticated and gory show by those times’ standards.
The show had a mixed cast of American and Canadian origins with Jared Martin, Lynda Mason Green, Richard Chavez, and Philip Akin as the leading team fighting the invasion of aliens in the first season. The second season had Adrian Paul joining the team as Chavez and Akin left because their characters died. Oops! Sorry, I forgot to yell spoiler alert!
This clip from the pilot, The Resurrection, is near the opening of the episode showing a group of terrorists taking over a government territory without realizing they are resurrecting the aliens by killing the bacteria that stops the aliens from rising back to life. Guess who is gonna get grabbed first…
