Paul Sperry has published an article in the New York Post today about the role of Saudi Arabia in the September 11 terror attack in New York – which remains the biggest terror attack on America to date. Sperry has pointed to the contradiction in FBI reports and its failure to investigate the Saudi connection to the incident.
Sperry’s article refers to former Democratic Senator Bob Graham who led a congressional inquiry into 9-11 in 2002 and he reportedly maintains: “the FBI is covering up a Saudi support cell in Sarasota for the hijackers.”
A couple of months ago, Al-Qaeda plotter Zacarias Moussaoui, who is in prison for his role in the 9-11 attack, revealed in his testimony that the Saudi royals funded the 9-11 terror attack. Saudi Arabia rejected his statement and called him a “deranged criminal”.
Who’s deranged and who’s lying, only an independent and thorough investigation can decide. But is the FBI willing to commit to such an investigation? If not, would it be the time for the government and media to push for it, or even create a new investigative body that is able to work independently. Maybe easier said than done, but at least should be said – for it’s a matter of national security.
