Animal rights advocates and nature lovers are protesting the inexcusable killing of a bear by Canadian police.
More than 100K people have signed a Care2 petition that demand justice for the killing of a black bear by York Regional Police of Ontario, Canada, on the first of June. The bear had entered the town searching for food and had harmed nobody for two days and no measures were taken to make it leave the place peacefully.
Updates on the petition page inform that a public protest was held in Newmarket last Wednesday to reject the lame measures taken by the authorities in response to the voices asking for justice.
“We need to learn to share this world with the innocent beings that we’ve taken everything from,” urges the petition .
Inexcusable behaviour, to eliminate our animal kingdom is a crime that no society in the world can accept. Shared with passion.
