Florida Governor Signed Bill Allowing Forced Testing and Vaccination

Florida Governor Signed Bill Allowing Forced Testing and Vaccination

When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the law banning vaccine passports, he became a hero once again to freedom lovers and anti-establishment Americans. But did you know the bill he signed actually allows the state to order someone to get tested and even vaccinated?

DeSantis signed the “landmark legislation” SB 2006 on May 03, 20121 to ban any government or private entities in the state of Florida from requiring vaccine passports or provide vaccination records.

“The bill takes aim at arbitrary lockdowns, vaccine passports and enhances emergency preparedness for future emergencies,” wrote the State of Florida website in a press release.

This sounds like a wonderful measure by the Florida Governor to protect civil rights. But they say the devil is in the details. SB 2006 also has a disturbing clause that allows the state health officials to force medical examination, testing, and even vaccination on individuals that they consider a threat to public health because of carrying a communicable disease. Clause No. 4 of Section 17 (d) on Page 38 of the bill’s document reads:

The State Health Officer, upon declaration of a public health emergency, may take actions that are necessary to protect the public health. Such actions include, but are not limited to…Ordering an individual to be examined, tested, vaccinated, treated, isolated, or quarantined for communicable diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and present a severe danger to public health. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to be examined, tested, vaccinated, or treated for reasons of health, religion, or conscience may be subjected to isolation or quarantine.

SB 2006

No freedom-loving American or advocate of an individual’s right to his/her body can allow such an overreach of the government even if it comes under the pretense of a health emergency. Such power over people is allowed in totalitarian regimes and is unimaginable in a democratic republic.

It’s been two months since SB 2006 was signed into law by Florida Governor, yet it has not made headlines, highlighted in any news outlets, or even discussed in any popular independent broadcasts. For the layman living in Florida, this clause can mean loss of any freedom and complete control of the authorities to impose medical procedures and products, particularly any vaccine, on the people. This law needs to be explained and people made aware of before it enslaves them with the chains of health emergency management.
