Plan now to come to the CBA fall campout at the Lodi Grape Festival grounds. Our campouts are a ton of fun for both pickers & grinners alike.
This site has plenty of lawn to camp &/or park on, & nearby restaurants for those seeking sustenance cooked by somebody else. The fall campout is when the votes for CBA Board of Directors are counted & the results announced. If you haven’t yet voted, do it now. Candidate statements are in the Bluegrass Breakdown. The new board will be introduced Saturday night & will answer any questions posed by members.
Also on Saturday evening there will be a dinner with entertainment by The Foothillbillies, an old-time band that has played at Grass Valley, & the long-awaited instrument raffle drawing. Instrument raffle tickets will be available until the drawing on Saturday evening. The CBA board meets Sunday morning; the meeting is open to all. Also, Charlene Sims & her colleagues are planning a book exchange. Bring a book(s); take a book(s). Be prepared for warm days & crisp-to-cold nights as fall settles in over Lodi. The fairgrounds have showers for tent campers & water & electric hookups for RVs. There are no full sewer hookups, but there is a dump station on the premises.
RVs $25/night, tents $10/night, day visitors free. The Saturday night dinner is $10.
