Judith Lichtman, Senior Advisor National Partnership for Women & Families, is calling on all concerned to stand up for women’s rights and reject the continued difference between wages men and women get for the same nature, quality, and amount of work in contemporary American society.
In an email message to subscribers, Lichtman wrote, “I have devoted my entire life to fighting injustice and speaking out for women and families, and my hope is to see the wage gap closed during our lifetime. It’s possible, but we have a long way to go and we can’t do it without you.”
