American President Obama is sometimes made fun of on social media and blogs for being someone who makes mindless statements. In a new one, he said mass shootings only happen in the United States.
Among several news sites and blogs, Daily Caller is one that posted the video clip from Mr. Obama’s recent press conference in Paris, France. He was heard and seen expressing sorrow over the recent shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado but then going on to say what soon made news: “I say this every time we’ve got one of these mass shootings. This just doesn’t happen in other countries.”
Twitchy called Obama’s statement “Amazingly Ignorant” and the web is getting abuzz with the US President’s knowledge, or lack thereof. Whether he reads news or not, but saying something like this in Paris where one of the most horrible mass shootings happened just weeks ago does cast a shadow over the soundness of Mr. Obama’s daylights.
