Blaine Sprouse & Keith Little will team up to conduct an interactive bluegrass fiddle/vocal workshop plus a concert on Saturday, April 16, at the Fifth String Music Store, 3184 N St, Sacramento, 916-442-8282, thefifthstring.com.
The interactive fiddle/vocal workshop from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm will cover how to play in a bluegrass band, making the most of each instrument’s strengths in musical conversation. The 1st hour will be demonstration, & the 2nd hour will be hands on. A concert performance with the addition of Josh Tharp, Rick Dugan, & Tom Shewmake will follow at 700 pm.
The workshop fee is $30, concert is $20, or $40 for both. Both Blaine & Keith are highly regarded bluegrass musicians who have performed & taught workshops all over the country. This is a great opportunity to learn from the masters of their craft.
