Fernandina Beach, Fl – On Thursday March 20th, at 1:00 pm, the ‘Pinta’ and the ‘Nina’, replicas of Columbus’ Ships will arrive in Fernandina Beach. The ships will be docked at the Fernandina Beach Marina, 3 South St., until their departure early Tuesday morning March 25th.
The media are invited to a private viewing of the ships on Thursday after docking. The ships open to the general public on Friday March 21st. The Nina was built by hand and without the use of power tools and is considered to be the most historically correct Columbus Replica ever built.
