Bluegrass legend Munde began his musical career in 1968 & is best known for his 21-year stint with the forward-leaning bluegrass band Country Gazette, which recorded many highly acclaimed albums. Evans is an internationally known five-string life force & brings deep knowledge, intense virtuosity, & contagious passion to all things banjo.  He has performed on Prairie Home Companion & with the San Francisco Symphony.

This very special, one-of-a-kind concert brings together two of the most important & influential bluegrass banjo players of the last several decades, performing bluegrass, original compositions, fiddle tunes on banjo, beautiful slow songs & much, much more – including their entertainment-defying polka medley. And they’re also very funny!  Loretta will contribute several of her famous pies for refreshments.

Seating is limited so don’t delay in making your reservations at or 916-990-0719. Your donation of $15 (CBA members) or $20 (non-members) all goes to the artists.  Mail your check payable to Bill Evans to John Hettinger, 113 Puffer Way, Folsom, CA 95630.
