Jordan’s Way Charities, a 501 (c) 3 organization in Safety Harbor, Florida will be holding a fundraising event in New York City’s Central Park. The event is called 100 Miles for 100 Shelters, and its goal is to raise enough funds to provide food for 100 animal shelters across the United States.
The charity’s founder Kris Rontonda, a former power-lifter, is going to perform a Herculean feat in the park to call attention to his charity and hopefully raise the needed funds. Starting on July 14, 2019 and ending on July 23, 2019 Kris will pull a 250-pound tire 100 miles around the park in repeated laps.
