Hundreds of Thousands Ask Craigslist to Move against Animal Abuse

Following the horrific abuse of Puppy Doe, which resulted in the painful death of the dog, hundreds of thousands have Puppy Doesigned a petition addressed to Craigslist to Help Stop Violence Against Pets.

The petition page on Change.org tells the heart-rending story of Puppy Doe and asks with serious concern how many more times such cruel stories have to take place before Craigslist moves to stop people from giving away their pets to strangers without any background checks.

“Also, we must not forget the story of the notorious Boston ‘Craigslist Killer’ murders which led Craigslist to ban the “erotic services” section on their site,” the petition adds.

With more than 283k supporting voices, the petition seeks another 16 plus thousand signatures to reach its goal of 300K signatures.
