New Petition Calls on Amazon to Ban Child Sex Abuse Dolls

by Collective Shout

A leading authority on sex dolls has launched a change.org petition calling on global eCommerce platform Amazon to stop selling child sex abuse dolls, backed by Collective Shout: for a world free of sexploitation.

Petition starter, Campaigns Manager Caitlin Roper, has spent years researching sex dolls, robots and child sex abuse dolls and is the author of the book Sex Dolls, Robots and Woman Hating: The Case for Resistance (Spinifex Press).

Child sex abuse dolls are replica little girls produced for men’s sexual use. They are lifelike and anatomically correct and typically have three penetrable orifices – vaginal, oral and anal.

Collective Shout has investigated the sale of child sex abuse dolls on the platform over the last year. Some dolls are photographed wearing children’s clothing, with pigtails, holding teddy bears and stuffed animals. Others are overtly marketed as “flat chested”.

Collective Shout has also found replica child body parts, including disembodied child heads, legs and torsos, all marketed for sexual use, as well as sex dolls modelled on toddlers on the platform.

Amazon claims to have strict policies against sex dolls with childlike appearances, but Collective Shout has found over 100 this year alone.

Child sex abuse dolls are not harmless – they fuel men’s abuse of actual children.

“These dolls don’t prevent child sexual abuse, they normalise and encourage it,” Ms Roper said.

“They allow predators to practice before escalating to sexually offending against children.

“By advertising and selling child sex abuse dolls, by supplying predators with these products, Amazon is complicit.”

To date Collective Shout has succeeded in getting child sex abuse dolls removed from six eCommerce platforms. Now it’s Amazon’s turn.
