Quiz 40 – Telling the Movie from the Images

Quiz 40 – Telling the Movie from the Images

Half way past the 2025 rollercoaster and here’s the new one, Quiz 40, bringing a new style and MO to the film quiz series. But hold your panican horses; we won’t put this one before allowing the previous quiz a full and unbiased review with key points resolved.

So in Quiz 39, you saw Jon Voight, aka Lt. Milo Minderbinder, hanging from a tree (non-execution style) in Catch 22 (1970) by Mike Nichols.  And the task assigned was to cast your Yes/No vote on Voight nailing his character – for which you’d need to be familiar with the novel. No votes were received so either you are all not familiar with the novel, or are still pondering, or MAYBE you just don’t read the blog or simply don’t care.

In any case, I have the right to my vote and I publicly laud Voight for bringing Milo Minderbinder to such a life on the screen. Unforgettable! And now my confession: before seeing the movie and while reading the novel (over 20 years ago), I visualized Milo as some chub not even close to the handsome and fit dude like Voight. But him aside, literally everyone in the movie was a great pick for their respective character. I would say you have to see the movie if you have read the novel; and you have to read the novel if you haven’t already.

Quiz 40

Would you panic or celebrate if I told you that we’re changing gears again for Quiz 40? It’s true. Let’s try it! For this quiz, see the group of images below and see what movie name you come up with. As always, put your answers below in the comment box.
