A movement has built up and is now on the streets across Pakistan. They want answers and justice on the questionable character of the country’s powerful military establishment about terrorism and illegal abduction of their fellow Pashtuns.
But the most notable silence in this raging storm of activism is that of the country’s “professional” media that seem to be categorically blacking out on the Pashtun movement. Fortunately, some journalists in the country have the spirit of journalism and professionalism alive, and they are speaking up against the silence of the Pakistani media.
More than 50 journalists sign a petition condemning the rising cases of censorship in the country.
