The Kathy Kallick Band is coming to the Folsom Opry House Sunday, October 23, 300 PM. We still have seats available, but don’t delay. Here are the details from my last newsletter.
Kathy Kallick Band: October 23, Folsom Opry House One of my favorite bluegrass bands, the Kathy Kallick Band, will return to the Folsom Opry House, 113 Puffer Way, Folsom, 916-990-0719, for a house concert on Sunday, October 23, 300 PM (door opens at 230 PM).
The band consists of Kathy on guitar & lead vocals, Annie Staninec on fiddle, Tom Bekeny on mandolin, Greg Booth on banjo & dobro, & Cary Black on bass. They have played the main stage at Grass Valley several times, have been a featured showcase band at IBMA, & have numerous CDs to their credit. All this great music plus Loretta’s legendary pies for refreshments! I know that this is the weekend of the CBA fall campout, but you can leave there Sunday morning & still make this concert. Seating is limited; their last concert here was sold out.
Admission is by donation of $20 advance for CBA members, $25 for everyone else. Mail your check payable to Kathy Kallick to John Hettinger, 113 Puffer Way, Folsom, CA 95630 to reserve your seat.
Not all of the variety of pies for refreshments have been determined yet, but there will be strawberry-rhubarb, pecan, and chocolate silk for sure. The more people making reservations, the more pies there will be.
