Megan Lynch Chowning & Mary Sue Englund will present both a house concert and a fiddle workshop on December 10 at the home of Ralph & Helen Standiford, 2413 Pinon Rd, Rescue (El Dorado County).
Megan is eight-time (yes, eight!) winner of the national fiddle championship Wieser, ID, and conducts fiddle camps at her own place near Nashville and at other music camps around the country. She is an amazing teacher. The concert at 700 PM is by donation of $20, all going to the artists; refreshments will be provided.
Registration for the workshop at 300 PM is $40; make your reservations with Maria at marianadauld@pacbell.net or 510-828-6961 by December 1.
Make your reservations for the concert with Ralph or Helen at rstandiford@att.net or 530-828-6961. They put on a fine show here at the Folsom Opry House last year. Seating for both events is limited; make your reservations early.
